We all have watched it a million times, some of us were in the moment when it happened, on June 14th 1998.

The sample that MJ got from design-God Tinker Hatfield just days before (not to be worn in public) became one of the most iconic soles of his career.
Designed with a luxurious sports car in mind, the leather, the yellow-red-badge branding on the outside to add to the car design, the seven (7!) logos on each shoe to total up to 14 (kinda glad they didn’t continue with this, the XXXII’s would have looked different…), the carbon fiber plate in the midsole to give that extra hop in your jumpshot that Byron Scott never got a chance on.
